Site-Specific Installation for Hudson Arts Project
cast paper, rusted nails, text
variable dimensions

In an abandoned church in Hudson NY, a 100' long banner of translucent laminated paper was hung from the upper choir window and draped down to the altar, echoing the ceremonial walk of the churchgoers. Embedded in the paper were rows of rusted nails and text from contemporary and historical religious sources condemning the outbreak of AIDS as a just punishment from God.
