Site-Specific Installation at Stifel Mansion, Wheeling WV
cast paper, furniture, text from T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land"
In one room of a former family mansion, furniture and artifacts were mixed with paper sculptural components and fragmented text from "The Waste Land". Questions about literal, cultural, and metaphorical death were superimposed onto a private space, and the absence of the occupants of the room became the real subject of the installation.
