cast paper, rusted nails, text

In an abandoned Episcopal Methodist Church in Hudson, NY, a 100' long banner of translucent laminated paper was hung from the upper choir window and draped down to the altar, echoing the ceremonial walk of the churchgoers. Embedded in the paper were rows of rusted nails and text from contemporary and historical religious sources condemning the outbreak of AIDS as a just punishment from God.
